Your idea stays yours. We use what you send only to produce your report. We never sell it, and we never reuse it to train models or to build anything else. This page explains exactly what we hold, for how long, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form: your answers about the venture, an email address tied to your report, and an optional web address you ask us to review. If you allow it, we may read the public page at that address. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for payment details to run the free analysis.
Why we collect it
To run the pre-mortem, return your report, and keep the report tied to your submission. We also keep small, non-content counts (for example, how many analyses ran today) to protect the service from abuse and runaway cost. We do not put your idea text or email into our operational logs.
How long we keep it
We delete your submission and report 30 days after your report is delivered. After that the working copy is gone. Service-provider backups may be kept for a short window for disaster recovery and then rotate out, so a purged record may persist in a backup for a little while beyond the 30 days before it too is overwritten. We do not restore purged data from backups except to recover from a system failure.
Who can see your report
Report pages are private and are never indexed by search engines. Each report link carries a long, unguessable key; only someone with your link can open it. Treat the link like a password.
Have your data deleted sooner
You can ask us to delete your submission and report before the 30 days are up, or to send you a copy of what we hold. Email us and include the email address you used, and we will act on it.
Security
We use encrypted connections to send data between your browser, this service and its providers. Access tokens are stored only as one-way hashes, so we cannot read your private link back out of the database.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will update the version shown at the top. The version you agreed to is recorded with your submission.
